Starting with a Rosco Permacolor dichroic color filters as the substrate, Rosco's designers will transfer your image onto high temperature colored glass plates using sophisticated photo lithography and chemical etching techniques. Your finished gobo will project in stunning color and vivid detail the design you have created. One and Two color designs will be matched against Rosco's extensive range of dichroic colors in order to faithfully reproduce the colors in your artwork. Multi color designs use 4 color CYMK mixing to match virtually any color in your art. Each plate of color is etched with a halftone pattern so that the assembled, precisely aligned multi-layer gobo renders color and details exactly as planned. Spectrumgobos can withstand temperatures found in modern ellipsoidal luminaires ("lekos") that use the new generation of sub-1000 watt lamps and a dichroic reflector. Moving lights using metal halide sources up to 1200 watts are generally compatible as well.
